South Georgia Career Center is located in Thomasville, GA. Our school offers training in 9 qualifications, with the most reviewed qualifications being Nursing Assistant (CNA), Phlebotomy Technician (CPT), and Medical Assistant (CMA).
Be a Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA)!
CNA helps patients with activities of daily living and other healthcare needs under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). CNA’s are also commonly referred to as Nursing Assistants, Patient Care Assistants (PCA), or Nurse’s Aid.
Be a Medical Assistant (CMA)!
Medical assistants provide physician support services that ensure that healthcare facilities run smoothly. They are responsible for administrative as well as clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, assisting physicians with exams, and performing front-desk tasks.
Be a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)!
Phlebotomists are trained medical professionals specializing in safely extracting blood from patients and performing routine blood and urine tests. South Georgia Career Center has produced successful phlebotomists for the past 8 years!
